On Friday 6th November Alan Johnson will be holding a public discussion on the case for EU membership in Pencoed. Everyone is welcome to come along and discuss the referendum with the leader of Labour’s campaign to stay in the European Union.
Alan is well known for his rise from Postman to Joint Union General Secretary before entering Parliament as MP for Kingston upon Hull West and Hessle in 1997. Since he entered Parliament he has been a Minister across several departments and Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Trade and Industry, Education and Skills, Health, Home and latterly Shadow Chancellor.
The event, organised by Ogmore Constituency Labour Party, will be taking place on Friday 6th November from 16:30 – 18:00 at the Miners Welfare Hall, Pencoed, CF35 5PE.
