Huw Welcomes Cefn Cribwr Primary School Pupils to Assembly
As part of an educational visit, pupils and staff of Cefn Cribwr Primary School recently visited the National Assembly to develop an understanding of how decisions are made and to further develop an understanding of being ethically informed citizens.
Following a tour of the Senedd and visiting the Chamber, the group also met up with their local AM Huw Irranca-Davies where they discussed Huw’s role as their Assembly Member and the work he does both locally and in the Assembly.
After undergoing a tough question and answer session from the pupils, the Ogmore AM said: “It was great catching up with the pupils and staff of Cefn Criwbr Primary School, and I very much enjoyed their tough questioning. Some interesting and thought provoking questions from very engaged children with an interest in how their world works.
I’m always pleased to see schools from Ogmore visiting the Assembly and it’s an added bonus if I can meet up with them. I would encourage more school groups to come down to Cardiff to see how the Assembly works for them.”
