Huw has officially opened two new log cabins as part of the latest expansion of Glyn Ogwr Lodges between Blackmill and Gilfach Goch.

The successful family-run tourist business is owned and managed by entrepreneur David Williams and his family. David remarked “If these mountains were in the Swiss Alps they’d be celebrated. We need to promote Wales’ beauty.”

Huw opened the original Glyn Ogwr Lodge in 2012, and said of the new development “This lovely family-run accommodation in the beautiful hill-top medieval village of Glynogwr provides an idyllic and historic setting to make the best of all the attractions of South Wales, with glorious beaches and spectacular mountains, top-class shopping destinations and tourist attractions all within easy reach.”

Chris Elmore MP added “David has done tremendously well and the expansion of the business is great for the area. It’s a beautiful part of the world and we should be promoting the beauty of Glynogwr and with top-class accommodation businesses like David’s we will do that.”

The expansion is now open and taking bookings.
