Another Blooming Success for Cefn Cribwr Gardening Club's Annual Fundraiser
Cefn Cribwr Gardening Club held their 11th Annual Cefn Open Garden event on Sunday 27th June, showcasing their beautiful displays to members of the public.
The Glamorgan Iron Horse Vintage Society provided tractors with trailers for ferrying visitors across the village in style on straw.
This year’s event was a big success and one of their most popular.

Ogmore MS Huw Irranca-Davies who was invited to attend the event said:
“One of the fixtures on the calendar for Chris Elmore MP and I, is the Annual Cefn Gardening Club’s Open Garden event.
We get to buy plants, pick up tips from (and be envious of) some of the tremendous gardens in Cefn, eat lots of cake, and even take a needed respite at the community-run Three Horseshoes pub.
All the funds raised go to MacMillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Hopice UK, Carers Trust and Parkinson’s UK too.
Thanks to everyone for organising such a lovely community event again, and for your fund-raising, and the victoria sponge too (got to it before Cllr Huw David got there!)"
