Coronavirus Update

Thanks to your efforts, we can move to Alert Level 0 from 6am Saturday 7 August.

Covid Pass

The NHS COVID Pass will now be needed to attend large events and nightclubs.

It lets you share your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination records in a secure way.

It allows you to prove to others that you have been vaccinated, or that you have had a negative lateral flow test result.

Face Coverings

Face coverings will not be required in hospitality settings from 6am on the 7th August.

Face coverings will continue to be required in most indoor public places in Wales, including on public transport, in shops and in healthcare settings. There will be exemptions for people who cannot wear them, as there are currently.

You can get a coronavirus test at a drive-through centre or have one delivered through the post.

These are the main symptoms of coronavirus

  • New continuous cough

  • High temperature

  • Loss of smell and/or taste

If you have ANY symptoms you must book a test right away

Vaccine Rollout

Following recent JCVI advice, all health boards are now inviting people to be vaccinated from the age of 16 years or over.

Check with your local health board on availability if you think you have been missed.
